Edwardian antique reading chair
Edwardian inlaid mahogany reading /easy chair. The chair has a mahogany frame with a double box line inlay to the arms and front legs. The square tapering legs ending on brass and china castors (replaced but identical to the original)

That looks like a wonderful chair. How did you restore it to such fine condition?
ReplyDeletefortunately the chair was in fairly good condition in the frame. The original castors had been discarded as the lady I purchased it from was fairly short. We replaced them with exact copies of the original and so it is as good as it was when it was first made. A little loving wax , a change of fabric and we were there
